Our Tier 2 Solution PS146 Compliance Package is a flexible, online compliance solution to save you money.
Under ASIC's Policy Statement 146 (PS146), licencees are required to provide minimum standard of training for staff providing financial product advice to retail customers. This is divided into 2 levels, Tier 1 being training at Diploma level in generic and specialist knowledge and Tier 2 for staff providing more general product information and advice.
All relevant staff must be accredited as a Tier 2 adviser by 11 March 2004. After this date, any new staff must be accredited before dealing directly with clients.

This course is an online program that covers generic and specialist knowledge of cash and deposit taking, and/or general insurance. The assessment ensures knowledge of the financial industry, client relationship skills and organisation specific products and services.
The program meets ASIC's PS146 compliance requirements and the requirements of the new competencies in the Financial Services Training Package and is listed on the ASIC register.
A nationally recognised Statement of Attainment will be issued to those assessed as competent in both knowledge and skills.
We have worked with NRMA Insurance and QBE Managed Services to provide a solution to their PS 146 needs. This has meant mapping all internal learning materials to ensure that their staff are compliant under the Financial Services Reform Act.
This training is only the first stage of a full Certificate III in Financial Services for many of these staff, providing a structured approach to ongoing professional development. We are also the Registered Training Organisation for these major players in Insurance.
